Across from her, Clara's face was a mask of intense focus as she clutched her smartphone, her fingers flying across the banking application interface.
She opened the family's shared corporate-linked asset management app, attempting to transfer emergency funds to secure their independent livelihood.
Suddenly, a harsh red warning banner flashed across the screen: “Unauthorized remaining deposit, this account was blocked.”

Clara stared at the screen in disbelief. Before she could process the restriction, her phone buzzed with an incoming call from Matthew. She answered, and Matthew’s furious voice exploded through the speaker, echoing in the restaurant: "Charlotte?" — wait, no— Matthew roared from across the room, having just received a security alert on his own phone. "Charlotte? What did you do?!"
Back at the grand estate, Matthew had just received a notification that the primary family funds had been locked out by Clara's administrative override before the full asset drain could take effect.
