Judge Sterling—a pompous, heavily indebted magistrate—sat at the center table flanked by two court bailiffs. Tabitha and Sarah sat beside him, looking smug and triumphant, while Chloe stood near the back recording the proceedings on her phone for social media clout.
Lucas walked down the grand staircase, looking impeccably sharp in a tailored charcoal suit. He didn't look like a defeated father; he walked with the crushing authority of a multi-billionaire industrialist.
"Lucas Sterling," Judge Sterling announced pompously, adjusting his glasses. "We have received emergency petitions regarding domestic volatility and child endangerment. Effective immediately, I am issuing a temporary restraining order, granting full custody of Lily to Sarah and Tabitha, and freezing your corporate assets pending a full evaluation."
Tabitha couldn't hide her triumphant grin. She stood up, raising her chin. "It’s over, Lucas. You lost."

Lucas didn't yell. He didn't flinch. Instead, he reached into his jacket pocket, pulled out a sleek flash drive, and calmly walked over to the AV control panel on the wall.
"Before you bang that gavel, Judge Sterling," Lucas said smoothly, his voice echoing with absolute menace, "you might want to review Exhibit A through F."
