The video clearly showed Jonathan Cross handing Victoria Vance a flash drive containing the malware used to hack the firewall, alongside signed contracts proving a conspiracy to commit corporate sabotage.
The color completely drained from Mr. Hayes’s face. He sank slowly back into his leather chair, trembling as he realized he had walked right into a carefully laid trap.

Heavy double doors at the back of the boardroom swung open. Federal marshals and cybercrime investigators stepped into the room, their badges gleaming under the bright lights. They walked straight toward Mr. Hayes, placing him under arrest for insider trading and corporate espionage, while a second team was already en route to apprehend Jonathan and Victoria.
