🎬 PART 2: «The Granddaughter They Tried to Bury Alive»

The elderly woman touched Clara’s wrist with shaking fingers.

“My granddaughter had that mark,” she whispered. “They told me she died.”

The man in the black suit went pale.

Clara slowly stood, still holding the woman’s hand.

“Who told you that?”

The old woman looked at the man above them.

“My son.”

The lobby went silent.

Clara turned to him, her voice barely steady.

“You’re my father?”

He adjusted his cuff, trying to look calm.

“This is absurd. She’s unwell.”

The old woman shook her head hard.

“No. He took you after your mother died. Your grandfather left the hotel and the house in your name. He said a baby would ruin everything.”

Clara’s eyes filled.

For twenty-four years, she had grown up in foster homes, then worked double shifts in a hotel that never felt like hers.

The old woman reached into her suit pocket and pulled out a worn photograph.

A baby wrapped in a cream blanket.

On the back, written in faded ink, were the words:

Clara, our little heir.

The man lunged for it.

Clara stepped back.

“No.”

The elderly woman pointed at the papers in his hand.

“He was making me sign away the last property your grandfather protected for you.”

Clara looked around the lobby.

At the shattered teacups.

At the cameras above the front desk.
